Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice

Competencies in patient-centered care, teamwork and cooperation, evidence-based practise, quality improvement, safety, and informatics are important for the ongoing development of the quality and safety of health care systems. The number and percentage of new registered nurses who complete basic pre-licensure will increase dramatically as a result of the new federal and state subsidies that are intended to be provided in the form of scholarships, loan forgiveness, and institutional capacity awards. Because nursing has developed more quickly than public policies impacting the profession, nursing's adaptability is significant from a policy perspective. The lack of nurses with a BSN and higher education, according to mounting data, is negatively affecting a variety of aspects of health care delivery, and these issues will only worsen in the future.
